The Final Fantasy series is filled with legendary characters that have defined generations of fans and gaming narratives.

Vincent Valentine is one of the series’ most fan-favorite characters, and he might have been missed in early versions of Final Fantasy 7. In the latest version of the Square Enix series, he appears later in the main storyline.

According to the official website of Final Fantasy Reborn, Vincent is a “self-proclaimed security guard, hibernating in a coffin deep in the Shinra Manor. This mysterious man wears a red cloak, possesses the genes of a monster, and is related to Sephiroth has a hidden connection.”

How to find Vincent in Final Fantasy VII Reborn

Vincent appears in Chapter 11: Shinra’s Long Shadow And met a group of people deep in Shinra Manor. In the original game, Vincent can be seen hibernating in a coffin. Players must solve a puzzle to get this companion to join them on their journey.

This time, the meeting with the taciturn man who lives in the dungeon is part of the main storyline. Players must travel deep into the depths of Zinla Manor to find him and work to add him to their party.

While Vincent is in Galionmon form, the party will face him in a boss battle. Defeated, Sid offers the sullen red-eyed character a chance to join them. Vincent will refuse and sullenly return to his dark lair until later in the chapter.

After a series of tricky battles, Vincent will appear again once Chapter 11 progresses. When the player returns to their roles as Cid and Tiny Bronco, Vincent will agree to join the party as a story character.

The fact that Vincent isn’t a playable character disappointed some fans who played the game. The third installment of Final Fantasy VII Remake will give players the chance to put on his gold-plated boots.
