Helldiver 2 players will be able to use new weapons as they fight against the Terminid and Automaton hordes in the critically acclaimed game.
Those loyal to the Battle for Super Earth will receive not one but two new heavy weapons to add to their arsenal.
Helldiver has added new content
This co-op game from Arrowhead Studios adds another supply to the arsenal in the form of the LAS-99 and MG-101. X official account released:

The two new weapons mark a busy week for the studio, as Arrowhead published an article covering the game’s previous patch. Patrik Lasota said: “I’m responsible for how Arrowhead listens to feedback and balances its game. I want to talk about the changes we made in this patch and why.”
Latosa is the Head of Product Testing (HPT) at Arrowhead and the designer of the original Helldivers game.
He breaks down the weapons, nerfs, and illusions, as well as some of the key support pieces that help Hellraiser complete its mission.
“In the gaming industry, core fantasy and what makes a weapon feel good and fun are often overlooked in the interest of balance,” Latosa said of finding harmony in games.
Feedback is important to the approach taken by Arrowhead, which can be seen in HPT’s perspective on game design. “It’s especially important for us to err on the side of caution so that when we make nerfs we don’t ruin the fantasy and the fun. We want you, our players, to tell us when we’ve inadvertently crossed that line.”
Arrowhead dropped content for the game earlier this month in the form of the Warbond upgrade. “Helldivers… we need your help. The brains at the Super Earth R&D Center have some cool experimental armor ready for field testing. That’s where you come in, and you’re the right guy for the job,” Sony blog post said.
The content release was greeted with praise by a massive update patch that brought fire tornadoes and meteors to the co-op shooter, as well as stability and balance fixes.
Arrowhead continues to impress with its player and content-focused gameplay updates. We await what’s next from the Super Earth saviors, but knowing the tongue-in-cheek studio, they might drop a few hints.
