Free Xbox games to play this weekend, including Fallout 76

To get you interested in the new Amazon Fallout TV show, or maybe the TV show got you interested in gaming, either way, Xbox Free Play Days tap into the growing hype of life in a nuclear wasteland to make Fallout 76 this weekend One of three games you can play completely free.

All you need is an Xbox to enter the wasteland before April 15th. Generally speaking, for the free weekend, you don’t even need to subscribe to Core Game Pass.

If a bleak dystopian future isn’t for you, there are other options. PGA Tour 2K23 is the latest reboot of last year’s classic golf sim, with gorgeous graphics and stress-free gameplay, as long as you can forgive the slightly wayward swing mechanics that prevent it from being as good as it should be.

The trio’s final game was a new one. Last month’s release of Classified: France ’44 may remind you that we’re heading to occupied France near the end of World War II.

In this ambitious turn-based tactics game, you must command an elite team of Allied special operators to wreak havoc in Nazi-occupied France on the eve of D-Day. Considering you probably haven’t played it, if you like war games and turn-based games, it’s really pretty good and we recommend giving it a try.

It’s received very positive reviews on Steam, so if you like the X-Com atmosphere set in a war setting, this might be a surprise for you.

Fallout 76, on the other hand, is already part of Game Pass anyway, so its best use for you is to remind you that it exists, or maybe play some multiplayer games with friends who wouldn’t otherwise have access to it.
