Walt Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery Channel have teamed up to offer a bundle of Disney+, Hulu and Max streaming services to U.S. customers.
Customers can sign up for combined programming on all three separate platforms, with ad-free or ad-supported formats available, but no information about the cost of the service has been disclosed.
A press release provides more information about the joint venture, which is set to launch this summer, with more official details to be announced in the coming weeks.
Disney+ is home to famous movies and shows from studios like Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic. It also owns The Simpsons. Hulu offers a comprehensive streaming service for live and on-demand programming, with access to content from every broadcast network in the United States.
Max is Warner Discovery’s enhanced streaming option, offering content for all the family from HBO Originals and Harry Potter to Cartoon Network and Discovery Channel.

Disney and Warner aim to attract more subscribers
This bundling option comes as viewers move away from linear TV due to the proliferation of various streaming packages and platforms on the market. Companies like Disney and Warner Discovery are aware of this and want to attract more subscribers to their products while remaining wary of consumer cost demands in a crowded market.
JB Perrette, CEO of Warner Bros. Discovery Channels and president of Worldwide Streaming and Gaming, said: “This new offering provides consumers with the richest entertainment content, delivering the best value in streaming and will help drive subscriptions. growth and stronger retention.”
This week, Disney also announced that it would be adding an ESPN segment to Disney+ ahead of a full launch of a standalone streaming service for the sports broadcast giant. Disney CEO Bob Iger spoke about the new additions during the company’s second-quarter earnings call, revealing that the section will bring “selected live games” and access to more shows on Disney+ permissions.
The service will be launched to all subscribers in the United States by the end of this year, and the new ESPN streaming service will launch in late 2025.
