Assassin’s Creed Red – Release date, trailer, platforms and everything we know

Assassin’s Creed Red is one of many new Assassin’s Creed games set to be released over the next few years. It’s definitely a different tone than what we’ve seen so far, with a whole new setting to get used to.

Here, we’ll take you through everything there is to know about Assassin’s Creed Red, including release date speculation, trailers, platforms, and more so you’ll be ready when the time comes.

Assassin’s Creed Red Release Date

Assassin’s Creed Red will have a release date between April 2024 and March 2025 According to Ubisoft’s latest financial report.

If we’re doing some detective work, most Assassin’s Creed games release between October and November, just in time for the holidays.

We expect Red to follow suit, as the game has been in development for a while and allows Ubisoft to jump back into the (almost) annual cycle of the Assassin’s Creed series.

Assassin’s Creed Red Trailer

As of this writing, only one trailer has been released for Assassin’s Creed Red. It comes in the form of a trailer that shows off a mysterious-looking figure on a Japanese rooftop, hinting at what we can expect from the game’s setting.

Here is a 30-second exciting trailer for your viewing pleasure:

Assassin’s Creed Red Platform

Since the aforementioned Assassin’s Creed Red release date will be between 2024 and 2025, we have a good idea on which platforms the game will be released.

Although it has not been officially confirmed, We expect Assassin’s Creed Red to release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There’s a slim chance we might see red on previous generation consoles like the Xbox One and PS4, but since the newer consoles are already 4 years old at launch, it’s unlikely.

Where is the Assassin’s Creed red suit?

“Assassin’s Creed: Red” will be set in feudal Japan But the exact date of this period remains unclear. Throughout the feudal era, there were numerous battles, both internal and to fight off invaders, as well as various power struggles between competing warlords, samurai, and rival clans.

This is absolutely perfect timing for an Assassin’s Creed game, with many of the series’ themes centering around overthrowing the forces of evil and maintaining overall peace. Additionally, Japan is the birthplace of the ninja, which fits perfectly with the “assassin” nature of the game.

Who is the protagonist of Assassin’s Creed Red?

According to various revelations, In fact, you’ll have two protagonists to choose from, rather than the traditional Assassin’s Creed approach to one.. Supposedly, one will be a samurai and the other will be a ninja (basically a ninja), allowing for a bit of variety. It remains to be seen whether this will be similar to Assassin’s Creed Odyssey where you choose which character you want to play at the start of the game, or if you can play as two characters throughout.

this It is said that the samurai and Yasuke are not closely relatedBecause of his African ancestry, some believe he was the first recorded foreign warrior. This makes sense in the Assassin’s Creed realm, as Ubisoft does tend to put historical figures into their games (such as Leonardo da Vinci), or create characters based on them.

The second assassin will be a female ninja But we don’t have much else to do right now. What we do have, though, is a “leaked” image from senior writer Pierre Boudreau, which actually shows us what the female ninja will look like when the game launches.

She wears the usual assassin hood and holds a blade, but unfortunately the rest of the costume is cut off. This could be the final design for the female ninja, but since we’re still a long way from release, things could change as well, especially since this isn’t an official character reveal.

Is Assassin’s Creed: Red a real game?

Assassin’s Creed Red is the codename of the gameand may not be the title as published.

As with other announced upcoming Assassin’s Creed games, these codenames are simply to iron out some kinks and will be changed to something more relevant to the setting when the time comes.

Since Assassin’s Creed Red is set in feudal Japan, the game could be released similar to Assassin’s Creed: Shogun, or after a specific point in that era, such as Assassin’s Creed: Sengoku.

If the information about the playable characters is true, Sengoku would be a perfect fit, as the male protagonist could be based on the real-life samurai Yasuke, who was still alive at the time.
