Are you ready for Disrupt 2024’s Startup Battlefield 200?

Hey early stage founders, listen! TechCrunch is looking for 200 pioneering startups to participate in the Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this October. Following the successful expansion of the “Entrepreneurship Battlefield” in 2022, which showcased the top 200 companies from all over the world, the 2023 Entrepreneurship Battlefield further raised the bar, attracting companies from more than 35 countries, spanning 25 industries, and with diverse backgrounds Home.

Competition will be fiercer than ever in year three. If your startup is selected from the crowd of applications, you will join an elite group and enjoy full rights to the show, exclusive workshops, investor office hours, mentorship, training, benefits and three days of free exhibition space. All selected founders will also have the opportunity to make a quick pitch in front of investors and TechCrunch editors.

Showcasing global innovators

We will carefully select 20 companies from the Startup Battlefield 200 to participate in the Startup Battlefield competition. These finalists will receive private pitch coaching to prepare for the spotlight in front of a full audience on the Disrupt main stage and will be featured on TechCrunch. In addition, founders will make pitches to leading global venture capital firms such as Sequoia Capital, Mayfield, and SOSV. The ultimate winner will receive $100,000 and the coveted Disrupt Cup.

TechCrunch does not require any equity from entrants or winners. Application and participation are 100% free.

The only way early-stage, pre-Series A startups can showcase at Disrupt is through Startup Battlefield, and the only way to become a Startup Battlefield finalist is to be selected for the Startup Battlefield 200.

How to join TechCrunch Entrepreneurship Battlefield 200

The process is simple. Just apply here. After completing the initial expression of interest form, you can continue to apply or wait for an email from us with a full preview of the questions.

To be considered, your company should:

  • Become an early-stage startup.
  • Have a minimum viable product.
  • Represents any vertical direction.
  • Represent any geographical area.
  • Be a game changer in your industry.
  • Bootstrapping or accessing pre-scale funding (varies by industry).
