Apple will showcase its expansion into artificial intelligence (AI) at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference at Apple Park from June 10 to 14.

The iPhone maker announced details of the event via a press release on Apple Newsroom, saying the event will provide “a deep dive into new tools, frameworks, and features.”

While artificial intelligence isn’t explicitly mentioned in the announcement, it’s expected to be widely discussed as iOS 18 is rumored to involve the use of artificial intelligence.

CEO Tim Cook has promised that Apple will “break new ground” in artificial intelligence this year as other companies in the industry have begun exploring the new technology.

Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of marketing, further teased the event on X, calling what’s to come “absolutely incredible!”

This year, the conference will offer developers the opportunity to watch keynotes, meet with Apple team members, and attend “special events.”

The latest iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS and VisionOS advancements will also be discussed. It is said that developers will see “unique access” this year to help them improve their apps and games.

“We’re excited to connect with developers from around the world at WWDC24 for an extraordinary week of technology and community,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations.

“WWDC is all about sharing new ideas and providing our amazing developers with innovative tools and resources to help them make even better things.”

Students will make a difference at Global Developers Conference

The next generation of developers will be in attendance alongside experienced developers, and winners of the Swift Student Challenge will be eligible to apply for in-person experience at Apple Park.

The challenge will recognize 50 outstanding winners and give thousands of people the opportunity to showcase their creativity and coding abilities through the App Playground.
